New Delhi TB Centre in collaboration with TAI has launched a TB and stigma awareness programme in 4 schools and 2 NGOs including HMDAV Senior Secondary School, Indraprastha Hindu Girls SS School, Sarvodhaya Vidhyalaya, Rohitigi SS School (Roshanpura), Bachoon Ka Ghar (orphanage) and SPYM (Drug De-addiction Centre). The initiative aims to educate students and communities about tuberculosis, its prevention and the importance of eliminating stigma associated with the disease. Through awareness talks and interactive sessions the programme fosters empathy and encourages early detection and treatment, creating a supportive environment for those affected.
