The daily health talks at the New Delhi Tuberculosis Centre play a crucial role in the fight against TB. By educating the public about reducing stigma, and providing essential support, the Centre is making significant strides in TB prevention and treatment.
On World TB Day 24th March 2024, Dr.K.K. Chopra former Director participated in Total Health programme organised by Doordarshan.
Dr. Sanjay Rajpal and Dr. K.K. Chopra addressed the gathering in the Adult BCG programme of Delhi State inaugurated in Jag Pravesh Hospital on 14th May 2024.
‘Unite to Act’ organized 3 day International Conference in Goa from May 15-17,2024. Dr.K.K.Chopra former Director delivered lecture on Active Case Finding and facilitated group work on decreasing Catastrophic Costs.
Organized Online NTEP sensitization program for DTOs, MOs and peripheral staff of Leh on 21st May 2024. Around 200 participants attended the session. Dr.K.K. Chopra former Director delivered the lecture.
The following awareness camps were organized in 2023 :-
Held the AGM on 29th October,2023. The Annual reports of the State Association for 2018-19 till 2022-23 were presented. The Audited accounts were also presented at the AGM.
Organized the 5th State Conference on TB and Chest Diseases in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna on 9th March 2024. Shri Samrat Chaudhary Dy CM and Minister of Health and Family Welfare Bihar inaugurated the function. (photo attached)
